Video Quality

Dreamsquare Cinema supports multiple quality levels so you can get the best picture for your connection and device.

Available quality options

  • Auto (recommended) — Automatically adjusts to give you the best quality your connection can handle.
  • Low (480p) — Uses less data. Good for slower connections or limited data plans.
  • Medium (720p) — A balance between quality and data usage.
  • High (1080p) — Full HD. Ideal for most screens and connections.
  • Ultra (4K) — Available on supported devices with a fast connection (25 Mbps or higher).

Changing quality while streaming

  1. Start playing an episode or film.
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the player controls.
  3. Select Quality and choose your preferred level.

Setting default quality

  1. Go to Profile Settings > Playback.
  2. Under Streaming Quality, choose your default for WiFi and mobile data separately.
  3. Under Download Quality, choose the quality for offline downloads.

Tip: Setting mobile data to "Low" or "Medium" helps conserve your data allowance when you're away from WiFi.

4K requirements

To stream in 4K, you need a compatible device (Apple TV 4K, supported Smart TVs, or a 4K-capable browser), a myDream+ subscription, and a stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
