Seeing a charge you didn't expect? Here are the most common reasons and what to do about them.

Common reasons

  • Free trial ended — When a free trial expires, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at the standard rate. You would have agreed to this when starting the trial.
  • Plan upgrade — If you recently changed to a higher-tier plan, a prorated charge may appear for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
  • Moon Coins purchase — Check if a Moon Coins transaction was made from your account. Go to Profile Settings > Purchase History to review.
  • Family member activity — If you're on a Family plan, another household member may have made a purchase.
  • Currency conversion — If your bank uses a different currency, the final amount may differ slightly due to exchange rates.

How to check your charges

  1. Go to Profile Settings > Subscription > Billing History.
  2. Review the list of recent charges with dates and amounts.
  3. Tap any charge for a detailed breakdown.

Request a refund
