Clearing Cache & Data

Clearing the app cache can resolve loading issues, display problems, and free up storage space on your device.

What's the difference?

  • Cache — Temporary data the app stores to load faster. Clearing it won't affect your account, library, or settings.
  • App data — All locally stored data, including your sign-in session. Clearing this signs you out and removes offline downloads.

In the Dreamsquare app

  1. Go to Profile Settings > Storage.
  2. Tap Clear Cache to remove temporary files.
  3. To free up more space, tap Manage Downloads and remove content you no longer need offline.

On Android

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Dreamsquare.
  2. Tap Storage.
  3. Tap Clear Cache. To clear all data, tap Clear Data (this signs you out).

On iOS

iOS doesn't offer a separate cache-clearing option. To fully clear app data:

  1. Delete the Dreamsquare app.
  2. Reinstall it from the App Store.
  3. Sign back in — your library and progress are safe in the cloud.

On Smart TVs

Navigate to your TV's app management settings, find Dreamsquare, and select Clear Cache or Clear Data depending on what's available.
